Edd Lewington of Out to Graze Festival, has spilled a few more beans about this year’s Oxford Wheels Project fundraiser.
The bash, staged by the Bassmentality and Simple & Slide collectives this year moves Fir Tree Country Park in Warmington, near Banbury, from June 11-13. And, says Edd, the site is a cracker – with the action taking place in a “jaw dropping” Secret Garden Party-style valley – surely the perfect spot for sets by the likes of Nextmen, MicroClimate, Snatch Productions and Dub Politics.
And with the new site comes a later licence, an extra day of dancing and such nutty pursuits as World Cup-style “Dubooteo” – a life-sized table football pitch in which teams of five are strapped together to fight for soccer glory... all to a dub soundtrack.
Who said festival-goers were lazy? Tickets are £50 from outtograze.com
