ONE of the hottest new artists in Britain, singer-songwriter Jon Allen has a style sitting somewhere between Rod Stewart, John Martyn and The Beatles.
His latest debut album 'Dead Man's Suit' has received critical acclaim from pretty much everyone who knows about, or just loves, good music - including us here at the Guide (though we are firmly in the second camp!).
The Winchester-born artist first hit the national consciousness when his tune 'In Your Light' was used as the theme for a Land Rover advert.
Audiences will get to hear that, and the rest of the album when he plays Oxford's New Theatre on Monday, supporting Seal.
This week we have teamed up with Jon to offer lucky readers the chance to hear what we believe is one of the best albums of the year so far - by winning one of three copies.
For a chance to win, simply tell us what county Jon's birthtown of Winchester is found in.
