YET more good news for fans of sublime indie-rockers Doves.
Following last month's announcement of a new album and tour, Manchester's finest have unveiled a full series of dates across the UK.
And while Oxfordshire fans may be disappointed to see they are still not returning to the City of Dreaming Spires, they will be playing just down the road - in Reading.
As reported previously, the toura ccompanies the release of new album Kingdom of Rust, out on April 6 on Heavenly Recordings.
"It's been a long time between drinks for Doves" say the band's 'people'.
"It's four years since their last broadcast ‘Some Cities’ flew to the top of the charts. Some feared they had flown the nest permanently. Thankfully, that was never going to be the case - and there has been a palpable sigh of relief from music lovers across the country and round the world.
"Now, throughout April and May, Jimi, Andy and Jez are hitting the road to perform their largest tour in over four years.
"Doves last tour was in 2005, since then they have only a played a handful of shows in the UK. When it was announced that they would embark on mini tour in March, anticipation reached fever pitch and the dates sold out within the hour. These are bound to sell like hot cakes, so act fast!"
