WILDERNESS festival, which would have featured 'hometown' shows by Oxfordshire bands Foals and Supergrass, has been canceleld over coronavirus.
The event, which takes place at Cornbury Park, near Charlbury, was set to begin at the end of July, but has tonight announced its postponement to 2021.
The new dates are August 5-8, 2021.

This year would have been the 10th instalment of the event and would also have featured Kidlington reggae legend David Rodigan & The Outlook Orchestra, Mercury-nominated South London rapper Loyle Carner, 'Milkshake' star Kelis, BICEP live, Elder Island and Jayda G.
Food is a big part of the festival, due to have been held from July 30–August 2, and this year's would have featured feasts prepared by chefs Richard Corrigan, Skye Gyngell, Fergus Henderson and Trevor Gulliver.

The announceemnt follows the cancellation of almost all festivals, including Cropredy, Henley, Rewind, Riverside, Towersey and Truck locally, and Glastonbury, Womad and the Isle of Wight festivals nationally.
Announcing the cancellation on social media, the organisers, said: "It is with great sadness that we must announce that Wilderness will no longer be taking place this year.
"We have been closely monitoring this unprecedented situation and it has become clear that it is just not possible for the festival to go ahead.
"In what would have been our 10th year at Cornbury Park, we would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you for your support, patience and understanding at this time. We would also like to express our immense gratitude to the team, artists and partners who work relentlessly each year to create the Wilderness we know and love."

Refunds will be available through Ticketmaster though festivalgoers are being invited to retain their tickets and carry them over.
For Charlbury residents, who recieve cheaper tickets, information on refunds will follow shortly.
Bookings for extra experiences, such as feasting or spa treatments, will be automatically refunded in the next 18 days by the Wilderness team.
The spokesman said: "As we look forward to brighter times on the horizon, we cannot wait to start planning Wilderness 2021 and welcoming you all back for another unforgettable weekend at Cornbury Park next Summer."
