POP heartthrob Ronan Keating has been revealed as the surprise Sunday headliner for this summer’s Cornbury Festival.
The Irish singer, a former member of chart-toppers Boyzone, will close the festival’s main stage on July 12.
Organisers have this morning also announced a tranche of additional names for the event, at Great Tew Park, near Chipping Norton.
They include 70s soft-rockers America – famed for hits Ventura Highway, Horse With No Name and You Can Do Magic.
They join previously announced acts Van Morrison, Dido, Jack Savoretti, The Waterboys and Kid Creole & the Coconuts.
New names also include Aurora Orchestra. The 30-piece classical troupe, will open the festival on July 10 with a blast of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons . Also up are acid jazz band Brand New Heavies, ska act The Dualers and country-pop band The Magic Numbers.

Guitarist Andy Fairweather Low heads the supporting cast on Saturday July 11, with Grammy Award-winning Colombians Monsieur Periné, up & coming New Yorkers Lawrence, Chanson Francaise star Miel de Botton, new rock artist Amy Montgomery and festival favourites The Overtures and The Dunwells.
Twinnie is coming to Cornbury
Sunday’s bill features Ward Thomas, rising star Twinnie, Scousers The Real Thing and The Christians, and Cornbury regulars Staks Band.

Festival director Hugh Phillimore, says: “It’s truly our most diverse line-up ever – a proper variety show for all ages and tastes – Cornbury’s musical rainbow, if you like.”
