Oxford Sixth Form College
A warm and supportive day and boarding community, Oxford Sixth Form College offers an outstanding university-inspired education that empowers each student to achieve their personal goals.
Every aspect of our students’ education – from the academic programmes they follow to the personalised guidance they receive, is designed around each individual’s talents, interests, and aspirations.
In our close-knit community, students can be themselves, excel in the classroom, and develop the skills they need to succeed at university and beyond.
Oxford Sixth Form College is an independent Sixth Form College for UK and international students.
We offer a broad range of A-Level subjects as well as BTEC Business and GCSE programmes (and a Pre-A-Level programme for international students).
Our teaching method puts an emphasis on small-group instruction that focuses on individual student needs and learning styles.
Over the years we have established an excellent reputation in securing progression for students to universities and degree courses that match their abilities and aspirations.
At Oxford Sixth Form College our students are given expert and considered advice in order that they choose subjects appropriate to their aptitudes, interests, and intended degree course or career aims.
We strongly believe that one size does not fit all.
Every student has different aspirations and abilities and through a focused, inclusive admissions process, small class sizes and individual holistic support from Senior Tutors, we provide an environment in which students can really thrive and pursue their own personal path.
The results speak for themselves. We are among the top one per cent of schools and colleges in England for progress at A-Level and across the past three years nearly one third of our students have progressed to a QS World Top 100 university (www.qs.com/rankings).
Our students progress to a wide range of degree programmes at top UK universities, including business management and economics; mathematics, civil engineering; computer science; medicine; biomedical sciences; neuroscience; law; art and creative media; fashion design; history and international relations.
Whilst the biggest percentage of our students are British (40 per cent), with a cohort of over 35 nationalities we celebrate and welcome the cultural diversity and global outlook that this brings to the college.
Our central-Oxford location provides students with the best of British culture at their doorstep and our curriculum ensures an authentic UK education experience.
Being part of the Nord Anglia Education family of schools means that we can take your sixth form experience beyond the classroom, through expeditions and working with students at Nord Anglia schools across the world through our Global Campus programme.
Oxford Sixth Form College can provide what you need to help you reach your goals, whether that’s a strong support network, a university applications expert, a focused learning hub, or your own personal mentor.
