Oxford Climate Awards


Recognises the work of primary schools at educating future generations on climate change. Nominees must showcase their commitment to educating and empowering the next generation of climate leaders to take action. This can be through individual eco groups or whole school action or initiatives on topics such as (but not limited to) air quality, zero waste, travel, and more.

NOMINATION QUESTIONS:

1. How has the nominee integrated sustainability principles into the curriculum and daily operations of the primary school? *


2. Describe specific initiatives or projects undertaken by the primary school to promote environmental awareness, conservation and sustainability practises among students, staff and the broader school community. *

5. How has the primary school collaborated with parents, local organisations or other stakeholders to promote sustainability education and initiatives both within and beyond the school grounds? *
