STAFF and bosses at an award-winning family engineering firm are celebrating a move into new premises.
Norbar Torque Tools has officially opened its new 170,000 sq ft factory at Wildmere Road, Banbury, which will allow manufacturing of torque wrenches and measuring equipment to be stepped up in a bid to meet spiralling global demand.
The workforce has already expanded, with 25 more jobs being created this year taking the overall headcount to 260. More staff are set to be recruited.
Managing director Neill Brodey said: “It is fitting the company should be marking its 70th anniversary year with a move to a new site.
“It offers exceptional opportunities for development and growth of the business in the UK and overseas.”
