Four Oxfordshire women have been selected as finalists in an awards scheme designed for people working from home.
Mary Thomas from Faringdon; Vanessa Blake of Steventon; Abingdon-based Catherine Warrilow and Alison Greenfrom Chipping Norton have all made the final cut in the Remote Worker Awards, in association with BT Business.
Ms Blake, whose company dreamgenii makes products for mother ancd child, and Ms Warrilow who runs public relations firm Publicity Oxford, will be competing for the Babyworld Parentpreneur Award title.
Ms Thomas, who runs information technology training firm Concise Training is in line for the The PCG Freelancer Award, while Ms Green is looking to win the BT Home Business Award crown.
The winners will be announced on September 1 at a special ceremony in London.
Paula Wynne, organiser of the awards, said: “One of the pleasures of organizing an awards programme is reading the variety of entries and choosing such deserving finalists.”
