The logistics division of Unipart has won a new multi-million pound contract with a high street furniture chain.
The Cowley-based operation will take on the warehousing and distribution for Habitat which is headquartered in Wallingford.
About 95 Habitat staff will transfer to Unipart under the terms of the deal which is worth £5m and there have been no redundancies.
The move follows Unipart winning a contract to supply 325 bookshops owned by Waterstone's last September.
Francois Rognoni, head of supply chain at Habitat, said: "Unipart Logistics has a strong track record of innovation in the supply chain and we see opportunities for our people at the distribution centre to further their careers as part of a larger group."
Ian Smith, managing director of Unipart Consumer Logistics, added: "This contract win pays testament to our growing expertise in retail logistics as we make consistently strong inroads into the sector."
Unipart Logistics customers also include Halfords, Vodafone and BSkyB, as well as aerospace operator Airbus and Jaguar car parts. The company employs about 2,000 people in Cowley.
