BILLY Bodin’s audacious lob in Oxford United’s 5-0 win against Peterborough United has been shortlisted for the Sky Bet League One goal of the month.
The U’s were 4-0 up and cruising, when Bodin entered the fray with 16 minutes to go.
With stoppage time approaching, the midfielder put the icing on the cake with a sumptuous effort.
The 32-year-old took Greg Leigh’s quick free kick down with his chest, and with his second touch rolled inside Ronnie Edwards, before then dinking an exquisite lob over Jed Steer in the Posh goal.

Also nominated for April’s League One goal of the month are Bolton Wanderers forward Aaron Collins, Leyton Orient midfielder Ethan Galbraith, and Fleetwood Town attacker Phoenix Patterson.
Meanwhile, former U’s winger Jodi Jones has been shortlisted for the League Two award, after he ran from inside his own half and weaved past two defenders before hammering home a low strike for Notts County in their 3-0 win at home to Harrogate Town.
Fans can vote for their favourite goals on the Football League website before 5pm on Monday.
Supporters’ votes will be combined with the choices from a panel to determine the winners, who will be announced on May 17.
