PETR Cech put in a man of the match display as Oxford City Stars claimed their first win of the season.
The former Chelsea goalkeeper produced 62 saves from 64 shots as Stars won 3-2 at home to reigning NIHL Division 1 South champions Streatham Red Hawks.
After a 4-0 loss in the first part of the double-header on Saturday, Stars recovered brilliantly the following day at Oxpens.
The visitors had a huge chance to go ahead with Josh Martin denied at the back post by Cech.

Bailey Hind-Pitcher then gave Stars the lead with 10 seconds of the opening period to go, having earlier made Nate Gregory work to keep him out.
Matt Lawday doubled the Stars advantage, but the away side hit back through Danny Ingoldsby as Cech was finally beaten.
Lawday grabbed his second strike of the evening though to give Stars a 3-1 lead at the end of the second period.
The hosts were under ever-increasing pressure in the final 20 minutes, with Cech making an brilliant save when Streatham led a three-man attack against him.
Ziggy Beesley made it 3-2 with five minutes to go, to set up a tense finale, however Stars held on to collect their first two points of the campaign.
