ONE of Oxfordshire’s rising young talents is aiming to seal her World Championships place this weekend.
Eloise Hind is among several athletes in the county set to compete at the England Athletics Under-20 and Under-23 Championships in Bedford today and tomorrow.
Hind will be aiming to qualify for the World Athletics Under-20 Championships, which take place in Cali, Colombia, during the first week of August.
The Oxford City AC athlete is to compete in the long jump, high jump and 100m hurdles in Bedfordshire.

The 18-year-old goes into the championships in top form after setting a personal best in the 100m hurdles and equalling her season’s best in the high jump, while representing Great Britain and Northern Ireland Under-20s at the Mannheim International earlier this month.
Hind claimed heptathlon bronze in her first British Championships in June, racking up 5,318 points.
Also representing Oxford City AC in Bedford will be Ben Ince (high jump and 110m hurdles), Iona Irvine (long jump and 100m hurdles), Fionn Leaney (400m hurdles), Billy Thomas Jude McCauley (shot put) and Ella Turner (400m).
Radley AC’s Rowan Miell-Ingram will compete in the 1,500m and 3,500m, and will be joined by teammates Amber Jeacock West (discus) and Erin Waters (javelin).
Emily Thompson is in the 1,5000m and 5,000m for Banbury Harriers, alongside Olly Perry (100m), Charlie Oliver Evans (javelin), Shannon Dawes (javelin) and Emelina Darvell (discus).
