AN elderly man has appeared in court accused of downloading indecent images of children.
Vincent Jordan, of HMP Ashfield, appeared at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (May 14) charged with three counts of making an indecent image of a child and one count of breaching a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO).

The 63-year-old is accused of downloading 37 Category A images, 75 Category B images, and 214 Category C images on April 12 last year in Oxfordshire.
He also allegedly failed to notify police he was in possession of a laptop on the same day despite his SHPO put in place in February 2021.
A plea and trial preparation hearing has been scheduled to take place at the same court on May 21.
