Edinburgh-based Morningside School of Music, one of UK's most successful independent music schools, is calling for franchise partners in Oxford.
Serving over 1400 pupils with an impressive team of 40 teachers, the school now aims to extend its reach beyond the east coast of Scotland.
Director Linda Boyd has said: "We’ve spent more than two decades building this business in Edinburgh to become one of the largest independent music schools in the UK.
"If it can work in the east of Scotland it can work anywhere, and that’s why we’re keen to speak to music teachers and other business-minded people in Oxford to see what we can do.
"Children who are able to learn a musical instrument have then been shown to excel in numerous other social and academic areas."
The school don't just use the traditional methods of teaching they also explore new teaching methods such as remote lessons over Zoom and usage of artificial intelligence.
Ms Boyd believes these create opportunities for local residents, as she said: "These are opportunities that should be afforded to people in Oxford too and we’re keen to speak to anyone who we can support in leading that ambition."
