ADMIRERS of luxury cars are able to drool over a stunning selection of vehicles at one of the world’s top events for high-end motoring.
Posh people’s car show Salon Privé has returned to Blenheim Palace for its 15th consecutive year.
One of the only large automotive events taking place this year, organisers are taking a strict approach to safety, with robust social-distancing measures and stringent systems to ensure it surpasses Covid-19 Secure guidelines.
The event opened its gates to the public yesterday and continues until Saturday.
Motoring enthusiast the Duke of Marlborough is patron of Salon Privé and welcomed fellow car fans to his family home in Woodstock.
He said: “I’m immensely proud and honoured to be hosting this event in this extraordinary and difficult year.
“We are protecting our guests to a level far beyond government advice.
“My family look forward to welcoming visitors to what we hope will be the highlight of your year.”

“We are committed to ensuring that everyone can once again enjoy these wonderful cars in luxurious surroundings to the full, while at the same time keeping everyone safe.”
A phone app called LiberApp has been adopted to keep participants safe.
The app has been specifically developed for major event organisers by the CI Group to ensure everyone who attends is Covid-free before they enter and can be contacted, if required, post-event.

Organisers insist that the security provided by the app will leave guests free to enjoy all aspects of the show – such as the array of modern high-performance supercars and legendary classic cars presented on the south lawns.
Mr Bagley said: “We’ve arranged the event with this as an absolute priority and we’re delighted to have the vital assistance of the LiberApp and the support of David Watt and his team at CI Group as our Technology Partner in this.”
David Watt, CEO of the CI Group said: “Live events like Salon Privé have been at the heart of our business for nearly 25 years.
“We’ve brought together our understanding of events and our extensive digital and data management skills to create the LiberApp specifically for major event organisers to help them meet the new needs of staging events safely and within Covid-19 secure guidelines.
“It’s superb testimony to Liber that Salon Privé, the most prestigious automotive event in the calendar, has chosen to work with us.
