Albert Kuqi on trial at Oxford United
ALBERT Kuqi, the brother of former Sheffield Wednesday and Ipswich Town striker Shefti, is on trial at Oxford United.
The 22-year-old was training with the U’s this morning with head coach Michael Appleton saying he will have a few sessions at the club so they can cast their eye over him.
Albert, also a striker, last played for Finnish side Klubi 04, scoring on his debut against FC Espoo.
“Albert Kuqi is coming in for a few days,” Appleton said.
“He’s a younger brother of Shefti so we just said we’d have a little look at him.”
