OXFORD United goalkeeper Max Crocombe is in the provisional New Zealand squad to play at the U-20 World Cup next month.
The 19-year-old is in a 26-man group which will be trimmed to 21 before they head to Turkey, where the Junior All Whites are in a group with Uzbekistan, Uruguay and Croatia.
Crocombe made his international debut in March during their qualifying tournament, keeping clean sheets against Vanuatu and hosts Fiji.
He will fly out to New Zealand early next month to meet up with the rest of the squad ahead of two warm-up matches.
Crocombe, who played in United's final three games of the season without conceding a goal, said: "It's obviously a great honour and I'm very excited.
"I know that I have to be really focused on my game and enjoy it because once it's over it will just be a great memory.
"The Fiji qualifying tournament went by so quickly and I'm sure this will be just the same, but it will be a great experience and I'm really looking forward to it."
