ADAM Chapman has ended speculation over his future by agreeing a new two-year contract at Oxford United.
The 22-year-old turned down two offers from the U's earlier this summer, but has penned a deal which will keep him at the Kassam Stadium until 2014.
He said: "I'm delighted to have signed.
"The club, the chairman and the manager have been great ever since I've joined and I always wanted to stay here.
"We have been talking over the last few weeks and I am happy to have got everything sorted and am just looking forward to pre-season now.
"It was an important decision for me and family and I know it's the right choice.
"It's an important year now for me.
"I'm feeling good and if I can get a decent pre-season in and earn a place in the side then I'm really looking forward to being part of a successful season."
