Horspath lifted the Bernard Tollett Oxfordshire Cup for the first time with an eight-wicket win over Great & Little Tew in the final at Oxford Downs yesterday.
Mark Skelton was Horspath’s match-winner with an unbeaten 67 off 33 balls.
Scores: Gt & Little Tew 134-8 (20 ovs, H Smith 30), Horspath 137-2 (17.3 ovs, M Skelton 67no).
Earlier in the day, Oxford retained the Wilf Bennett Trophy with a 114-run hammering of Tiddington in the final at the same venue.
Scores: Oxford 225-7 (20 ovs, S Laudat 63), Tiddington 111 (15.2 ovs, N Pykett 62, V Perera 3-0 inc hat-trick, T Godsell 3-20).
