HORSPATH clinched their second Cherwell League title in four seasons after Pat Foster took 8-44 to blast his way through the Buckingham Town batting line-up.
The home side – the champions’ nearest challengers for much of the campaign – were rolled over inside 33 overs for only 87.
Horspath then eased to 88-3 from only 15 overs to start the celebrations.

Oxford 2nd were the only other winners in the top flight as the bad weather affected the other matches.
Aussie left-arm seamer Adam Price took 4-18 as Leighton Buzzard Town were reduced to 149 all out. Jack Kempster (34) was the only batsman to put up much resistance.
Alex Morgan (49) and Luke Finch (48) took Oxford to 152-3 in only 22.1 overs.

Oxford Downs stayed in relegation danger after their match with Thame Town was washed out.
Only one side is likely to drop into Division 2, but Downs have to play the top two away from home in their final three matches and are only six points above bottom-club Twyford.
On Saturday they managed 224-7 from their 53 overs, with James Ellwood (64) and Darryl Woods (48) to the fore.
Sam Lachlan took 4-85 for Thame, whose innings did not start due to heavy rain at tea.

Twyford closed the gap at the bottom, despite being denied the chance to press for victory by the weather.
They made 212-7 at home to Great Brickhill, Shahid Mahmood leading the way with 53.
Brickhill could manage only 82-5 after the interval, as their innings was reduced to 37 overs.
