ABINGDON’S Paul Fernandez continued his good form by finishing as the first V40 runner in the Bramley 20-mile race.
Fernandez was sixth overall in 1hr 53mins 51secs in the event, raced between Reading and Basingstoke. Guildford & Godalming’s John Sanderson took the honours in 1.51.26.
Witney Road Runners’ Tony Lock was the first V45 runner in the 10-mile race, finishing in 58mins 42 secs.
A place and one second behind was Oxford City’s Mark Tyrrell.
Victory went to Reading's Daniel Thorne in 50.26, with Reading Roadrunners' Tony Carter second in 52.11.

Headington’s Michael Pearce, Kenny Lowies and Seth Cayley were runners-up to Reading Roadrunners in the 10-mile team race.
Pearce was the first of the trio home in 19th in 1.00.41, with Lowies 25th in 1.01.24 and Cayley 37th in 1.02. 53.
