DENISE Bridges finished third in the ladies only Candleford Canter 10K.
The Woodstock Harriers athlete completed the course in 42mins 51secs to finish 16 seconds behind runner-up Lisa Webb (Shaftesbury Barnet Harriers).
Former Great Britain international Amy Chalk (Bristol & West) won by a margin of more than five minutes in 37.15.
In so doing, Bridges showed good powers of recovery, having run the Abingdon Marathon a week previously.
