WOODSTOCK Harriers’ Jessica Webb was the first lady home at the Henley Half Marathon.
Webb finished 25th overall in a gun time of 1hr 25mins 41secs, with her chip time of 1.24.23 representing a big personal best.
The 30-year-old athlete crossed the start line well behind second-placed Caroline Hoskins (Reading Road Runners), who clocked 1.26.06.
But Webb came in three places and 25 seconds ahead of Hoskins by the finish.

DAVE Parsons has climbed to the top of Britain’s vet 65 rankings after a strong showing at the Vitality Oxford Half Marathon.
The 67-year-old finished 112th in 1hr 26mins 12secs – a time 44 seconds quicker than his nearest rival.
HANNAH Hale maintained her club record-breaking form at the Plusnet Yorkshire Marathon.
Hale finished 208th overall at York and 14th lady to set a new Eynsham Road Runners’ mark of 3hrs 12mins 59secs.
