Witney Road Runners’ Tegid Jones stormed to victory in the Chiltern Chase 10K.
Jones triumphed by more than a minute in the multi-terrain event, which started and finished in Ewelme.
The 38-year-old crossed the line in 35mins 48secs ahead of Ben Barwick (Winchester & District), who clocked 37.03.
Emma Hodson (Oxford University) won the ladies’ race in 40.18.
There was a husband and wife double at the Otmoor Challenge.
Oxford City’s David Bruce won the event in 1hr 15mins 24secs after a great battle with Abingdon’s Paul Fernandez.
Muddy conditions made for slower times, but Bruce came out on top, finishing 16 seconds ahead of his rival.
Headington’s Jess Bruce was the ladies’ winner in 1.32.18.
David Kuester claimed one gold, two silvers and a bronze at the Midland Masters Track and Field Championships.
The Bicester athlete triumphed in the hammer, came second in the shot put and discus, and third in the javelin at the event held in Nuneaton.
