JAMES Bolton and Sophie Carter were Oxfordshire’s leading performers at the Bourton 10K.
Woodstock Harriers’ Bolt-on finished seventh and retained the vet 40 men’s title he won last year.
Carter, who lives in Woodstock, but now runs for Belgrave Harriers, was second senior lady.
Strong winds meant times were slower than expected on what is usually a fast course.
Bolton crossed the line in 33mins 18secs, while Carter clocked 38.10.
Diane Moore (Headington Road Runners) was the first vet 35 lady home in 40.14.
Problems with marshalling meant several runners crossed the finish line on their penultimate lap of the village and have therefore been listed incorrectly in the results.
We have decided to report the times as they appear on the race website unless otherwise directed.
