Hooker Neil Briggs says London Welsh have the talent and belief to beat Exeter Chiefs tomorrow.
Briggs, who will start his third Aviva Premiership match for the Exiles, expects a physical battle, but one which they can edge.
“We know if we front up, we can cause Exeter real trouble,” said Briggs.
“They are not unbeatable. They came up into this league the same as us “With the talent and belief we have, we know we can go out there and get a win.”
Defeats to Leicester and Harlequins in their opening two matches were not that surprising, given the Exiles’ newly-promoted status.
But Briggs believes they are going in the right direction.
He said: “We have had a tough start to the season.
“We have looked at our game and what we can do to fix it.
“We know Exeter are a big, physical side. They play a lot of territory and take the game to you.
Briggs added: “We have belief, despite the last two matches.
“There is a desire and workrate to get better. Once we get the first points on the board, we’ll kick on from there.”
