OXFORD City Stars have announced the departure of head coach Simon Anderson via mutual consent.
The NIHL Division 1 South side are second from bottom in the table, having won just two of their opening 14 games of the season.
In the interim, Shannon Taylor will fulfil the role as caretaker coach.

The club said in a statement: “Simon has been an integral part of our club, contributing significantly to our journey, and it is with sincere appreciation that we bid him farewell.
“Regrettably, the current season has not unfolded as envisioned, and despite Simon’s unwavering dedication, the desired results on the ice have been elusive.
“The dressing room, for various reasons, has not responded to Simon’s strategies as anticipated, leading to this difficult but mutual decision.
“Simon leaves with our utmost respect, gratitude, and best wishes for his future endeavours. His contributions to the team will be remembered, and we thank him for his tireless efforts.”
Shane Moore, head of hockey operations at the Stars, said: “We want to express our gratitude to Simon Anderson for his dedication and hard work during his time with Oxford City Stars.
“It’s always a tough decision when parting ways with someone who has given so much to the club.
“Looking ahead, Oxford City Stars is actively exploring options for a new head coach that matches our growth plans and ambitions.
“We invite applications from experienced players and head coaches who may be interested in taking on this pivotal role within our organisation.”
