OXFORD United have signed Tsun Dai from Bury for an undisclosed fee.
The winger, seen as one for the future, signed a two-year contract this afternoon to beat the transfer deadline.
Tsun joined Bury last summer, but made only 11 appearances, scoring once, for the Shakers, who were relegated from Sky Bet League One.
The 19-year-old, who was born in Hong Kong and spent four years in Reading’s academy, said: “The manager has been brilliant to me and I can’t wait.
“This is a totally different environment (to Bury) I think. It’s great to be here.
“I’ve had a pretty tough one with Bury, lots of physical work and playing decent games against Premier League sides. It’s been pretty good.
“I played 80 minutes against Huddersfield and did alright. I can’t wait to get the season going.”
U’s boss Karl Robinson said: “He’s an exciting prospect and although he still has plenty to learn he has a fantastic attitude and we think will continue to develop and improve.”
