Flintham (9-2) gave Mark Bradstock a welcome boost following Coneygree’s controversial withdrawal at Plumpton on Monday by opening his account at Chepstow yesterday.
The five-year-old, a full-brother to Carruthers and a half-brother to Coneygree from Bradstock’s Letcombe Bassett stables, near Wantage, landed a novices’ handicap hurdle.
SHANTOU Magic (9-2) scored for Chipping Norton trainer Charlie Longsdon at Market Rasen yesterday.
