There were celebrations at Horspath after Éire Óg became Hertfordshire champions for the first time in 23 years.
Despite trailing at half-time, the Oxford side eventually saw off the 2013 champions Glen Rovers 2-11, 1-5.
Éire Óg dominated early on, but had only three points for their efforts thanks to Piers McGlynn (2) and JP Doyle.
Niall O’ Reilly opened the Watford side’s account and when he added two more and Seamus Hayes scored, Rovers went ahead.

Although Rovers scored the next two points, via the boot of O’Reilly, Oxford never went behind again.
