Oxford United will be heading to Scotland in pre-season, to help with team bonding.
Plans are in place for them to have a short Scottish tour, with a friendly at Morton and a behind-closed-doors game at Hibs.
They will then return for two big games at the Kassam Stadium, with the opposition yet to be confirmed.
“Pre-season is all mapped out,” said manager Chris Wilder.
“Much of it is done and dusted.
“I’m not going to get the boys back too early, but they’ve got a post-season programme from us and will have fitness tests in June.
“They will start back on July 8 and there’ll be some pre-season games before we go up to Scotland.
“We’ve pencilled in a game at Morton on a Saturday and the behind-closed-doors game at Hibs will be on the Tuesday before we head back that night.
“We’ll be training hard and the time away will be really important for the spirit of the side.
“Then we’ll have two good friendlies back at the Kassam.”
United have had pre-season tours of Scotland before, playing at St Mirren (twice) and Clydebank, though they have never taken on as big a club as Edinburgh side Hibernian.
