TWO crews were called to a fire on a city centre bus in Wood Farm.

They dealt with a small fire in the engine compartment of an Oxford Bus Company bus in Wood Farm Road.

There were no passengers on board and no-one was injured.

The bus company tweeted: “Due to incident in Wood Farm we are unable to service any stops. Passengers will be dropped on the Slade as close as possible to minimise inconvenience.

“We are expecting delays as a result of this. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.”
