Praise for bus drivers
Living in Oxford with only a bike to take me to work, to carry all the supermarket shopping, and to get to social engagements, I am grateful to Oxford's bus drivers.
They could so easily miss bicycles in their rear view mirror, but they always pause and wait.
When cycling uphill, especially with a heavy load, I am grateful when the driver (always, without fault) waits for the cyclist to pass before pulling out.
Cycles are so small and buses so big - I don't know how they do it.
Perhaps they all have 20:20 vision.
But well done, and long live public transport!

I work for OBS, we are only doing what we are trained to do to be very observant for cyclist but they make it very difficult for us drivers when they cut in front of our bus especial when they ride straight of the pavement with out any regards to other road users (Their lives are in their hands)
