A 74-year-old man arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving over the death of a cyclist in North Oxford has been bailed by police.
The Banbury man was arrested after a 34-year-old female cyclist was killed in a crash with a cement mixer lorry he was driving in Woodstock Road, Oxford, on Friday.
The street was closed for more than four hours following the smash at the junction with Polstead Road at about 9.10am.
The man has been bailed until December 6 pending further enquiries. The woman has not been named.
