WEATHER forecasters are not predicting any more snow for a couple of days but it will return at the weekend.
And, while we've seen off Whiteout Wednesday, the cold snap is likely to see the white stuff stick around on the ground in the meantime with freezing temperatures making driving and walking treacherous.
The Met Office is forecasting a cold start to Thursday with temperatures sinking to -5C in the early hours and unlikely to rise until mid-morning.
The weather will be clear, however, but after it rises over tomorrow prepare for another cold night with a low of -4C.
Expect a repeat on Friday, say forecasters, with a similar low that night.
If you've not had enough of the snow, then you can expect some joy with it coming down Saturday night and during Sunday.
