Also admitted damaging the bonnet of a blue Peugeot in Oxford, causing racially aggravated fear of violence in Oxford and racially or religiously aggravated common assault in Oxford, all on the same date. Given six-month community order and ordered to pay £60 costs and £100 compensation.
Glen Ramsey, 35, of Divinity Road, East Oxford, admitted burgling WH Smiths in Cornmarket Street, Oxford, and stealing DVDs worth £250.78. Jailed for 90 days.
Howard Russell, 54, of Langley Road, Abingdon, admitted being drunk and disorderly in Gloucester Green, Oxford, on April 24. Fined £150 with £30 costs and a £15 victims’ surcharge.
Terrance Kerrigan, 45, of Middle Barton Road, Duns Tew, admitted stealing a bottle of wine worth £2.99 from the Co-op in Oxford on April 26. Also admitted failing to provide a sample for a drugs test in Oxford on the same date. Fined £25 with £15 costs.
Chris Travis, 49, of no fixed address, admitted making off without payment at The Tong Restaurant in The Square, Botley, after ordering soup, spare ribs, a large prawn and green pepper dish, sizzling lamb, rice and two bottles of wine worth £67.20 on April 24. Jailed for 53 days and ordered to pay £46 compensation.
Alexander Davis, 50, of Paradise Square, Oxford, admitted driving while disqualified and using a vehicle without insurance in Marsh Lane, Oxford, on January 11. Also admitted failing to surrender to bail at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on January 21. Jailed for 24 weeks and banned from driving for two years.
Ali Shahzad, 26, of Bullingdon Prison, Bicester, convicted of sexual assault on a female on March 29 in Oxford. Jailed for six weeks and ordered to sign the Sex Offenders’ Register for seven years.
Lee Cressey, 23, of Sinodun Road, Didcot, admitted common assault in Didcot on November 23 last year and assault by beating in Didcot on September 15, 2007. Given 12-month supervision order and ordered to pay £268 compensation and £280 costs.
Danny Macdonald, 26, of North Drive, Harwell, admitted common assault in Didcot on November 23 last year. Given 70 hours of unpaid work and ordered to pay £250 compensation and £100 costs.
Craig Thomas, 20, of Allin Close, Oxford, convicted of using a vehicle without insurance and driving other than in accordance with a licence in Barnes Road, Cowley, on July 17 last year. Proved in absence. Fined £300 with £60 costs and a £15 victims’ surcharge. Also given six penalty points.
Jeldes Malik, 26, of Kersington Crescent, Oxford, convicted of using a motor vehicle without a test certificate, without insurance and driving other than in accordance with a licence in Between Towns Road, Oxford, on October 1, 2006. Fined £175 with £60 costs and given six penalty points.
Caroline Malone, 43, of Pegasus Road, Oxford, convicted of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour in Oxford on February 1. Fined £100 with £85 costs and a £15 victims’ surcharge.
WITNEY: Anthony Walls, 42, of Wick Close, Headington, convicted of using a vehicle without insurance on Oxford’s Eastern Bypass on November 4 last year. Proved in absence. Fined £525 and ordered to pay £80 costs and a £15 victims’ surcharge. Also given eight penalty points.
Michael Wilson, 27, of Celandine Place, Greater Leys, admitted driving other than in accordance with a licence in Pegasus Road, Blackbird Leys, on November 1 last year. Fined £50 with £60 costs and a £15 victims’ surcharge. Also given three penalty points.
DIDCOT: Julieann Aitken, 38, of Saxton Road, Abingdon, convicted of using a television without a licence on February 13. Proved in absence. Fined £430 with £60 costs and a £15 victims’ surcharge.
Angela Bennett, 25, of Venners Water, Didcot, convicted of using a television without a licence on December 16 last year. Proved in absence. Fined £260 with £60 costs and a £15 victims’ surcharge.
Perry Havord, 22, of Saxton Road, Abingdon, admitted causing actual bodily harm and damaging a mobile phone in Abingdon on September 6 last year. Given 80 hours of unpaid work and ordered to pay £150 compensation and £60 costs Ben Jackson, 20, of Loyd Close, Didcot, admitted causing actual bodily harm in Abingdon on September 6 last year. Given 80 hours of unpaid work and ordered to pay £50 compensation and £60 costs.
Gary Colchester-Hall, 22, of Willow Brook, Abingdon, admitted burgling a garage in Steventon on March 16 and stealing a telescope and a metal detector worth £220. Given a 14-day prison sentence, suspended for 12 months. Also a 12-month supervision order.
Thomas Pearce, 28, of Lansdown Road, Faringdon, admitted being concerned in the production of five cannabis plants in Faringdon on March 14. Given a 12-month supervision order with a requirement to attend the offender substance abuse programme and ordered to pay £60 costs.
Robert McCorrisken, 42, of Overmead, Abingdon, admitted being drunk and disorderly in Ock Street, Abingdon, on April 4. Fined £80 with £30 costs and a £15 victims’ surcharge.
BANBURY: Laura Peverill, 19, of Mill Lane, Chinnor, admitted drink driving on the A41 at Bicester on March 29 with 137 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of urine. Fined £100 with £60 costs and a £15 victims’ surcharge. Banned from driving for 16 months.
Graham Taylor, 47, c/o Dukes Road, Kidlington, admitted being drunk and disorderly in Oxford Road, Kidlington, on April 23. Fined £35 with £60 costs and a £15 victims’ surcharge.
Gary Mitchell, 18, of Heyford Close, Standlake, admitted drink driving with 144 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of urine in Downs Road, Standlake on January 1, also admitted driving other than in accordance with a licence and using a vehicle without insurance in Downs Road, Standlake, on December 31 last year. Fined £280 and ordered to pay £250 costs and a £15 victims’ surcharge. Banned from driving for 12 months.
Jonathan Collins, 20, of Rochford Gardens, Bicester, admitted being drunk and disorderly in Bicester on April 26. Given six-month conditional discharge.
