A footbridge over the River Thames has closed.
The timber footbridge between Culham Lock and Abingdon is being repaired.
Following reported damage to the Timber decking, the Environment Agency have closed the bridge to ascertain the damage to the structure and whether there is anything else that is a cause for concern.
The Oxfordshire County Council closure has occurred for investigative work to be carried out to determine the extent of the decay and repair work required for the footbridge.
There is a minor diversion in place over Culham Old Bridge, a medieval bridge originally built in 1416.
The 24-hour closure of the footbridge started on Monday, April 22 and is expected to be completed by Tuesday, May 14.
