A Sunday Times bestselling author is releasing a new book this May centred around her connection with the Oxfordshire and Wiltshire landscape.
Clover Stroud's memoir, The Giant on the Skyline, explores the concept of 'home'.
With her eldest children off to university and her husband Pete working in America, Ms Stroud left her rural life in Oxfordshire for Washington DC.
Ms Stroud looks at why it was that she found it hard to leave her home.
Writer Emma Gannon said: "This incredibly special book will make you think of all the places and people you have ever called home."
Author James Aldred added: "I’m blown away by Clover’s writing. So impressive, inspiring, fluid, honest and resonant."
Ms Stroud will be launching her book at events in Wantage and Oxford.
