A SWIMMING school is celebrating teaching more than 1,000 children across the county how to swim.
Puddle Ducks Oxfordshire, which provides classes in Abingdon, Carterton, Wantage and Witney, now runs 188 classes per week.
The company, which teaches children birth up to 10-years-old, is also celebrating its 11th anniversary with a duck-shaped birthday cake.

Owner Beccy Stenson “always dreamt” her business would grow to teach thousands of children a key life skill.
She said: “To pass the amazing milestone of teaching over 1,000 children a week to swim is a phenomenal achievement.
“I am so proud we are able to offer swimming lessons to so many children and I want to be able to increase this opportunity to more and more children."
Puddle Ducks is now looking to expand into more pools across the county.
“The demand for our lessons is so high,” said Ms Stenson. “We would love to be able to offer more to children across the area but we are in need of more teachers and pools.
“If you’re looking for a career change, or something to fit more flexibly around family life, why not consider teaching to swim?
