If you are keen to show your pride this summer, there are a number of Pride festivals to attend across Oxfordshire.

Pride festivals are annual events which take place in towns and cities around the world and celebrate the LGBTQ+ community, as well as raise awareness about the issues the community still faces.

These are the Pride festivals you can attend in Oxfordshire this summer:

Witney Pride

May 28 2022

Witney Pride will take place on Saturday, May 28 at 12pm at The Leys Recreational Ground. 

Witney Pride is free to attend and will include a parade and festival day. 

Those taking part in the parade will gather outside the Methodist Church in the high street. The parade will then proceed along the High Street towards The Buttercross, down Church Green and ending on The Leys. 

There will be an afternoon of live entertainment, games, community stalls and commercial traders.

Oxford Pride

June 4 2022

Oxford Pride will take place on June 4 in Oxford. 

The event will include a parade which will march through the city's streets and performances, including an Amy Winehouse tribute act, folk band and DJ set. 

The festival day is part of a wider range of Pride events which will take place across Oxford from May 27 to June 5. 

Bicester Pride

July 9 2022

Bicester Pride is set to take place on July 9. 

Few details have been made public yet about the event. 

Jolly Farmers

August 26 - 29 

Although not a Pride event, we thought it was mentioning the Jolly Farmers will celebrate its 40th anniversary this August. 

The 40th anniversary celebration bash will take place during the August Bank Holiday weekend.
