OXFORD Stadium is set to be transformed into an outdoor concert venue to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
The Cowley venue, which reopened last month following a decade-long closure, is set to welcome tribute acts including ABBA, Michael Jackson, Tom Jones, Lady Gaga and Little Mix.
They will all take to the stage at 6pm on June 4, for five hours of live music.

The stadium’s managing director, Kevin Boothby, said: “This fun, family-friendly concert will signal the beginning of our ambition to transform Oxford Stadium into a true multi-purpose venue for the people of Oxfordshire.
“We have a fantastic core of speedway and greyhound racing enthusiasts who we welcome through our doors each week. But we want Oxford Stadium to be a place where everyone can create memories.
“We hope to welcome as many families and groups of friends possible through our doors as part of this historic weekend of celebration.
“The response from the public to our opening has been staggering. Parents and grandparents with lifetime memories of our venue are introducing a new generation to Oxford Stadium, which is fantastic to see and something my team and I feel very privileged to be part of.
“Placing the community at the heart of Oxford Stadium is what will make our operation a success, and the initial engagement we have experienced points towards a very bright future.”
