The prosecution of a man accused of controlling behaviour and making threats to kill was stopped following his death in a Kingston Bagpuize crash.
A note from the coroner said Ben Ireson, 26, died from multiple injuries in the incident on April 28, Oxford Crown Court heard.
Ireson, formerly of Bow Bank, Longworth, had been charged with controlling and coercive behaviour towards a woman in Longworth, Abingdon, between 2018 and 2021.

He was also accused of threatening to kill her on March 7 last year, beating her on the same date and harassing her between March 7 and 8 by ‘continually calling her’.
His case was mentioned at the crown court on Tuesday morning, when Judge Nigel Daly noted the contents of a letter from senior coroner for Oxfordshire Darren Salter. Ireson died on April 28 in Kingston Bagpuize from what was described as multiple injuries.
Judge Daly added: “The court offers its condolences to the family and friends of Mr Ireson.”

Last month, Thames Valley Police said a 26-year-old motorcyclist had died at the scene following a crash at 12.50am between a Ford Focus, a Yamaha motorcycle and red DAF box van. It happened at the junction of Frax Close and Faringdon Road, Kingston Bagpuize.
