Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue has said two fires in Oxford woodland were set deliberately.
Rewley Road Fire Station went to two fires in Bagley Wood during the last couple of days.
The blazes were spotted by local walkers and firefighters were able to scramble to the scene before they got out of control.

An Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue spokesperson said: “Fires in woodlands can spread very quickly and be extremely devastating to the wood and the animals that call it home.
“As woodlands dry out as we head towards the Summer months the chance of a small fire getting out of control significantly increases.
“Make sure you enjoy these longer, sunnier days in and around our beautiful County, but please don't take the chance of lighting a fire in woodlands, the consequences could be severe.”
