This summer is set to be huge, with an incredible lineup from some of Oxford's biggest festivals.
Be warned that it is time to get booking, as tickets are selling out fast.
Cornbury Music Festival
When: July 8-10
Where: Great Tew Park, Chipping Norton
In brief: With huge headliners such as James Blunt, Bryan Adam, Jools Holland and Ronan Keating, the Cornbury Music Festival is not one to miss. It is also important not to miss this one, as according to Cornbury’s founder Hugh Phillimore this festival will also be the last. The independent festival which started out at Cornbury Park in 2003 moved to its current location in 2011 but didn’t lose its name.
Truck Festival
When: July 21- 24
Where: Hill Farm, Steventon
In brief: A smashing lineup has been announced for Truck Festival 2022 with headliners Kasabian, Bombay Bicycle Club, Sam Fender, The Kooks and Blossoms. This year the festival is also celebrating its 25th anniversary.
Henley Festival
When: July 6-10
Where: Leander Club, Henley-on-Thames
In brief: Already sold out on Friday, when Tom Jones is headlining, Henley festival is an unmissable celebration and charitable organisation with the mission to support emerging music and art talent. Celebrating 40 years this summer, it is one of the few festivals with a Black Tie dress code and is all about the glitz and glamour.
Wilderness
When: August 4-7
Where: Cornbury park, Charlbury
In brief: The artists are yet to be announced for Wilderness 2022, Rudimental, Bombay Bicycle Club, and Bastille amongst their previous headliners. The four day boutique festival spans food, music, and the Arts.
Rewind South Festival
When: August 19-21
Where: Temple Island Meadows, Henley-on-Thames
In brief: The huge 80s music festival returns this year to take you back in time. Headlined by Holly Johnson, and The Human League with a silent disco and inflatable church just two of the wacky attractions on offer, it is definitely going to be a good time.
The Big Feastival
When: August 26-28
Where: Alex James’s Farm, Kingham
In brief: The two-day festival on rockstar Alex James’ farm in the Cotsworlds, organised with famous chef Jamie Oliver, combines award-winning food with some of the UK’s biggest artists. The Human League, Anne-Marie, and Stereophonics are headlining on the music front, Ravneet Gill, Thomasina Miers and Robin Gill are just three of the amazing chefs to be in attendance.
