A TANKER fire near Botley Interchange has been cleared and traffic has returned to normal on the A34.
There was queueing traffic on the A34 northbound near Oxford this evening due to the incident wich happened just before 7pm.
Our traffic feed said that it was reported that the road was blocked however sensors confirmed traffic was able to pass the scene.

Motorist Jack Dunstone drove past the scene and called the fire service.
He said: "I contacted the fire service and they were aware and crews were on their way. I heard multiple sirens."
The incident has been cleared.
It is not yet known whether anyone was hurt.
