A HUGE sink hole has opened under a party shop in Oxford.
The Frog Orange Party Shop in Jericho is at risk of slowly being engulfed by a giant sink hole.
The hole extends underneath the building, which is owned by St John's College.
Outside the front of the party shop the hole has caused some of the building to become weak and crack.
UPDATE: Family who live next door say they are terrified of shop collapsing
The fire service and police responded to the incident at 9am this morning and shortly after closed the entrance to Saint Bernard’s Road.
Staff at the Victoria pub next door to the shop said they arrived at 10am to find a fire engine and two police cars parked outside.
They said they were told the hole was some three metres deep, but they were also told they had no need to fear for their own safety.

The Frog Orange Party Shop closed last Saturday after the business struggled to survive during the pandemic.
It was the city’s last remaining party shop and it closed after more than 30 years of trading.
