A BOAT fire at Donnington Bridge is being investigated by police.
Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service inititially said it was called to the blaze at City of Oxford Rowing Club on Sunday night.
This has now been clarified with Thames Valley Police that it was actually the nearby Riverside Centre.
A crew from Rewley Road Fire Station were sent just after 10pm and got to the site at 10.14pm.
Firefighters found a small boat on a trailer in the car park of the rowing club on fire.
A picture of the blaze was shared with the Oxford Mail by a reader.

An fire service spokesman said: “Two firefighters in breathing apparatus, using a high pressure hose reel, extinguished the fire quickly. Fire crews left the scene at 10.49pm.”
He added the blaze was being investigated by Thames Valley Police.
Police confirmed officers attended Donnington Bridge Road and that an investigation was ongoing but no arrests have been made.
