FIREFIGHTERS were scrambled to the M40 after a car was engulfed in flames at the side of the carriageway.
Crews from Thame Fire Station were called to the fire which completely destroyed the front of the car.
Pictures show little left of the front of the car as the burnt wreckage sits at the side of the road.
It happened between J6 and J7 heading northbound on the M40, on Saturday afternoon.
