YES, it's tipping it down, and will continue to do so all day, but let's not let that ruin the last Sunday of summer!
With a good umbrella and a decent raincoat to get you from A to B, there are still plenty of great days out happening in Oxfordshire today which are entirely or largely undercover.
Here's our pick of ten of the best:
- Crochet for Beginners, Hobbycraft off Botley Road, 3pm - 4pm: Learn to crochet, for beginners and improvers (£5)
- Paint Buzz Drop-In Upcycling and Craft Family Workshop and Storytelling, Cutteslow Park Greenhouses, 12pm - 3pm: Family Workshop with child-friendly Frenchic Paints and Storytelling at 1.15pm and 2pm (Fees depending on material used)
- Towersey Festival, Thame, all day: Plenty of indoor live music, folk dancing workshops and fast food (Adult day tickets from £40)
- Summits, popular covers duo, at the Victoria Arms, Old Marston, 3pm - 6pm (free)
- Scoop zero-waste pop-up shop, Tap Social Brewery, Curtis Industrial Estate, Botley, 2pm - 6pm: A plastic-free pop-up shop selling tea, rice, fruit and feel-good vibes (Prices vary; bring a container)
- Food – A West Ox Arts Members’ Exhibition, West Ox Arts Gallery in Bampton, 2pm to 4pm: A celebration of every aspect of our creation, consumption and interaction with this most essential of items (free)

- Witney Fire Station open day, 10am - 4pm: Meet firefighters, climb aboard their shiny red engines and explore the station (free)
- Uffington White Horse Show, near Wantage, all day: flying displays and monster truck show might be damp, but organisers have promised there is 'plenty undercover!' (Adult tickets £12.50)
- Oxford Foodies Festival, South Park, 11am - 9pm: Again, mostly outdoors, but several large tents to shelter under (Adult tickets £18)
